THis collection of songs is a biographical reflection of Dave Mertz (1922 - 2015), and his life spent living on a lake in Northeastern PA. Inspired by his character; these songs were written in a few weeks on the lake and were recorded in the course of a year, in Philadelphia. Each song spins the story of a recreational man, gripped by the persistent hobby of observing and questioning the nature surrounding him.
